Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral Unima'l Ranim'a Ixo'q (Grandeza Corazón de Mujer) (ADIURI)
ADIURI was founded in Guatemala in 2000 to respond to the many challenges facing Guatemala’s indigenous women, including discrimination, sexual and gender-based violence, poverty, illiteracy, lack of access to healthcare and language barriers. ADIURI seeks to empower women through leadership trainings, workshops on socioeconomic rights, preventing and responding to violence, and training women to use media to raise awareness about women’s rights.
