Comite de Reconstruccion y Desarrollo Economico y Social de Comunidades de Suchitoto (CRDESC)

CRDESC was founded in 1987 to support communities of Suchitoto displaced by the civil war in El Salvador during the 1980s and 90s. It provides assistance to 26 member rural communities in one of the poorest regions of El Salvador in sustainable economic development, environmental management and civic participation.

Project

Milk Production Cooperative

To increase food security in rural El Salvador by providing trainings on animal husbandry, establishing a small store for the sale of cooperative members' agricultural products, and strengthening the organization's fundraising and evaluation capacity.
