Founded in 1990, Asociación Flor de Piedra is dedicated to defending and promoting the human rights of current and former commercial sex workers. The organization works in the most marginalized urban areas and benefits 2300 sex workers with its education and training programs. It has lobbied municipal governments for changes to laws; implemented trainings for security forces; used the media to expose and denounce violations; and convened national and regional meetings of sex workers’ organizations.

Promoting Sex Workers' Sexual and Reproductive Health
To support the strengthening of Flor de Piedra's internal administration systems and staff capacity building, and to hold support groups for HIV-positive women and provide education and engage in advocacy for anti-discrimination policies and practices.
