Asociacion Cristiana de Jovenes (ACJ-YMCA)
ACJ-YMCA was founded in 1990, toward the end of the civil war in El Salvador, to support and work with youth, a group that particularly suffered during the period of conflict. Since its inception, the organization has implemented education projects on human and children’s rights, gender and the environment, and provided vocational training to young people. It now focuses on sexual and reproductive health education and HIV/AIDS prevention among rural youth.
