Community Foundation for the Western Region of Zimbabwe (CFWRZ)
Founded in 1997, CFWRZ's mission is to support poor communities in the western region of Zimbabwe by helping establish locally-driven initiatives for sustainable livelihoods. The Food Security and Economic Self-Sufficiency project focuses on the Dukwe community, an ethnic minority in southwest Zimbabwe that is plagued by extreme rates of unemployment, increasing malnutrition, poor female-headed households and increasing HIV/AIDS rates.
