Founded in 2001, UCODET conducts care and support initiatives in Mbale—a community extremely hard hit by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. It provides AIDS orphans, vulnerable children and their families, through counseling and economic support.

Child Protection and Rights
To reduce cases of child rights violations in Mbale by educating communities about child protection and by establishing child rights committees, promoting safe circumcision and protecting girls who are atrisk of early marriages.
