LMB was established in 2002 to protect and advance the rights of commercial sex workers and their children. The organization promotes access to healthcare, raises HIV/AIDS awareness among children of sex workers, promotes "street walking peace," provides psychological support to girl-child sex workers and aims to eliminate child prostitution.

Community Organizing for Sex Worker Rights
To advance the human rights of sex workers by educating sex workers on human rights and reporting, improving access to health information and services, strengthening peer support groups, and engaging with the media and police; and to strengthen the organizational development of LMB.
