GUWODU was founded in 1998 to advocate for the rights of women with disabilities in Gulu and Amuru District. The organization primarily focuses on advocacy and lobbying, community sensitization and economic empowerment through livelihood support.

Purpose: To promote the rights of girls and women with disabilities through income-generating activities and advocacy for improved access to sexual and reproductive health information and services.
