CEPIL was established in 2009 to protect the rights of marginalized citizens in Uganda. CEPIL aims to ensure that every person has equal access to social, economic, and political opportunities without discrimination on the basis of their ethnicity, social standing, religion, political opinion or membership in a political party or organization.

Land Rights in Northern Uganda
To promote land rights in post-conflict northern Uganda by educating communities about customary land tenure and through strategic litigation to combat land grabbing.
