Established in 1987, KCCC is a community faith-based organization that aims to mitigate the psychosocial, spiritual and economic impact of HIV/AIDS in the Kamwokya community. KCCC's programs and activities take an integrated approach to development, AIDS care and prevention, counseling, social support and spiritual guidance.

To improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children through school support, income-generating activities and advocacy; and to promote environmental conservation through school tree nurseries.

To advance the human rights of sex workers in Bwaise, a slum in Kampala, through community mobilization and outreach, health and life skills workshops and livelihoods training; and to support organizational growth through computer skills training for staff.

To promote the rights of LBTI women by conducting research on sexual health, reproductive rights and human rights violations, and by using the published findings as a tool for advocacy.
