World Education Senegal (WES)
WES uses community radio, advocacy and social mobilization to pursue peace in the armed conflict in Casamance, southern Senegal, which has nearly destroyed the social fabric of affected communities for almost three decades. WES hopes to increase dialogue among community members and with the opposition factions, ultimately achieving lasting peace.
