Living Hope Care (LIHOC)
LIHOC was founded in 1994 and is based in Osun State, Nigeria. The organization provides holistic care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and their families, including orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). It focuses on educating and raising awareness in the community at large about HIV/AIDS; on improving reproductive health and healthy living; and on reducing incidence of opportunistic infections such as malaria. LIHOC’s programs also provide care to PLWHA and assistance to OVC and their guardians.
Project
HIV Transmission Prevention in Osun and Bauchi States
To strengthen care for people living with HIV and AIDS by training grassroots organizations, including faith-based groups, on prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and working with government to integrate reproductive health services in health care centers.
