Living Hope Care (LIHOC)
LIHOC was founded in 1994 and is based in Osun State, Nigeria. The organization provides holistic care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and their families, including orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). It focuses on educating and raising awareness in the community at large about HIV/AIDS; on improving reproductive health and healthy living; and on reducing incidence of opportunistic infections such as malaria. LIHOC’s programs also provide care to PLWHA and assistance to OVC and their guardians.
Project
HIV Transmission Prevention in Osun and Bauchi States
To strengthen the institutional capacity of LIHOC and four emerging grassroots partner organizations to care for people living with HIV/AIDS and people with disabilities, focusing on the prevention of vertical transmission of HIV and stigma reduction.
