SHIFSD works with the Liberian refugee population to reduce the social causes of poverty through education and economic empowerment. It recently moved to southeast Liberia to accommodate the needs of the increasing number of Liberian refugees returning to their country.
Project
Innovative Microcredit and Education Project
To strengthen the livelihoods of 187 women and young people who benefitted from a small loan program by organizing two refresher workshops on financial literacy and business development; and to increase organizational effectiveness by supporting three staff members to take classes in accounting, law and management.
