LET is a grantmaking initiative of the All Africa Foundation that was formed to harness American support for the restoration of basic education in post-civil-war Liberia. LET currently works with community-based organizations to build and rehabilitate 50 schools, train 500 teachers, award 5,000 scholarships—principally to girls—and to support women to enroll in literacy programs and enter teacher-training colleges.
