WAPCAS was founded in 1996 to combat HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) among sex workers and other at-risk populations by distributing condoms and offering preventative services, testing, treatment and counseling.

Ghana Sister-to-Sister HIV/AIDS Project
To reduce the transmission of HIV and sexually transmitted infections and to strengthen the integration of sex workers in the wider community by facilitating peer education, providing vocational training and establishing a resource center.
