GIGDEV is a local NGO established in 1998 to provide sustainable livelihood development to deprived rural communities, in particular, to underprivileged young girls and women.
Project
Operation "End Streetism"
To prevent the migration of 280 vulnerable girls from rural to urban areas through vocational training and basic business management; to enhance the leadership skills of 20 assembly women through a workshop on women's rights and governance; and to build GIGDEV's staff capacity in strategic planning.
