Established in 1997, Mekdim was Ethiopia's first association of people living with HIV/AIDS. The organization’s activities include: providing information on prevention and stigma-reduction through music, drama and sporting events; home-based care for people living with HIV/AIDS; individual, couples, family and group counseling.
