Founded in 2006, CAPI supports peace-building with social and economic reconstruction while focusing on building cohesion and capacities within local community groups.
Project
Change Agent Peace Program
To conduct 12 workshops on peacebuilding; to organize three exchange meetings between peace committees in three communities; to monitor the participation of women as voters during the upcoming elections; to build the capacity of two emerging groups to gradually become change agents in the peace building process in North and South Kivu; and to receive skills training in risk assessment and security management to enhance the protection and security of CAPI's grassroots partners in North and South Kivu.
