Founded in 1998, Ajedi-Ka works with children affected by armed conflict, especially child soldiers. The organization’s activities include prevention of child soldiers' recruitment, monitoring and reporting on child rights violations, assisting children without access to social infrastructures, and working with children affected by HIV/AIDS.
Project
Child Soldier Reintegration
To prevent the recruitment of children into armed conflict through advocacy for the application of child protection laws; to reintegrate former child soldiers through family reunifications and vocational training activities; and to promote HIV testing and treatment for former child soldiers.
