Meet activists working to confront the HIV/AIDS pandemic in the township of Soweto; talk to community leaders working for equality and social justice in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth; visit the Robben Island jail cell where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison. The AJWS Study Tour will provide unique insight into South Africa's history, culture and politics through conversations with a former member of Parliament, historians, activists and extraordinary local leaders.
