How to Apply
For Campus-based Organizations
Planning an AJWS Alternative Break is a collaborative effort between AJWS and a participating organization (Hillel or other campus-based organization).
AJWS assesses a participating organization's compatibility with our program through a written application and interview. Hillels should apply for Alternative Breaks through the Immersion Experiences department at Hillel International. Other organizations may contact AJWS to discuss the application process.
For Individuals
Individuals may not apply to AJWS directly for Alternative Breaks. To participate in a program, you must apply through your campus's Hillel or other participating organization. Please click below for a list of the universities with which we are working in 2010. If your school is not listed, we suggest that you contact your local Hillel and express your desire for an Alternative Break opportunity in the future.
