Volunteer Summer
Ghana, 2005

Julie Veroff participated in AJWS Alternative Breaks in Nicaragua and AJWS Volunteer Summer in Ghana in 2005. She received an AJWS-AVODAH Double Impact Social Justice Grant to support her internship with the UN High Commissioner on Refugees in Zambia. Julie is currently pursuing a master's degree in Development Studies at the University of Oxford.

Volunteer Corps
Thailand, 2007

Leah Spigelman participated in AJWS Volunteer Corps in Thailand in 2007. She received an AJWS-AVODAH Double Impact Social Justice Grant to support her internship with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the UN Mission in Liberia, helping to oversee the Liberia Peacebuilding Fund. Leah is currently pursuing a master's degree at Tufts University.

He received an AJWS-AVODAH Double Impact Social Justice Grant to support his internship with the Israeli-Palestinian Business Forum. David is currently pursuing a master's degree in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
