Alumni

Since 1994, over 3,500 people ranging in age from 14 to 80+ have participated in AJWS service programs. Members of the AJWS alumni community continue to make social change happen after their programs in a variety of ways, reflective of their diverse passions and interests.

In addition, AJWS is proud to partner with AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps to build and support a community of young Jews connected by their shared passion for social justice and Jewish values through Pursue: Action for a Just World.

Nationally and internationally, AJWS is committed to keeping our growing alumni community connected and informed about service opportunities, issues and campaigns, educational programs and more. To learn more about these opportunities and ways to get involved, please subscribe to the "all alumni" listserv by e-mailing alumni@ajws.org.

In addition, AJWS alumni can be found all over the United States, and increasingly, all over the world. There are growing clusters of alumni in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle and other regions. If you do not live in one of our staffed cities, consider connecting with fellow alumni through our regional contacts program:

Be a Regional Contact: Are you interested in connecting with local AJWS alumni about jobs, service opportunities, or social networking? Please e-mail alumni@ajws.org and let us know if we can share your name and e-mail address with alumni who contact us about making connections in your area.

Find a Regional Contact: Moving to a new city? Want to connect with like-minded folks where you already live? Over 50 AJWS alumni serve as regional contacts in cities all over the world, from Juneau, Alaska to Johannesburg, South Africa. E-mail alumni@ajws.org to see if there is a regional contact nearby and we'll be happy to put you in touch.
