Rapid Relief

During times of natural disaster, AJWS provides direct and immediate support to community-based organizations. This funding enables groups on the ground to help those who are most affected, and allows them to begin the process of rebuilding their communities as quickly as possible.

Rapid relief funds give AJWS the flexibility to respond to the urgent needs of devastated communities, and to support their long-term hopes for peace, self-sufficiency and security. This process is known as "from disaster to development." Though we may not read about these situations on the front pages of our newspapers, the human suffering is real and these communities need our support.
